How Warpak Dish LLC handles information inside UnPlat™, a dish-first discovery and Taste DNA platform.
We may collect account details such as email and display name; Taste DNA onboarding choices; dish ratings, saved dishes, taste notes, and profile adjustments you create; photos and bug reports you choose to submit; location data used to find dishes near you; and basic device, usage, and diagnostic information needed to operate the service.
We use information to operate your account, power dish search, personalize Taste DNA recommendations, show saved dishes, improve reliability, review bug reports, prevent abuse, and support legal or compliance needs.
Taste DNA is built from onboarding, ratings, saved dishes, and preference signals. Manual Taste DNA adjustments and taste notes may be stored locally first while the product is in beta. We do not sell your personal Taste DNA profile.
Photos, ratings, and plate activity you submit may appear in community or dish surfaces with limited attribution, such as first name or profile display information, depending on the feature.
UnPlat uses location to find dishes near you and calculate distance/radius. To turn coordinates into a neighborhood name and nearby results, we send precise location to our mapping and geocoding provider (Google Maps Platform) through our own servers; our own diagnostic logs keep only coarse, city-level coordinates. You can control device location permissions and your search radius at any time.
When you open a restaurant or partner link from UnPlat, the outbound web address may include an opaque per-click token so we can understand which recommendations are useful and operate the service. That token is a random or hashed identifier tied to the click — not to your name or email — and is omitted when you are signed out.
You can delete your account any time from Settings → Delete account. Deletion removes your account and private data (profile, Taste DNA, saved dishes, the identity behind your ratings, and photos you submitted) and signs you out everywhere; public contributions are anonymized so they no longer identify you. We keep active-account data while your account exists, and retain limited records only as needed for security, fraud and abuse prevention, and legal obligations. Anonymized or aggregated dish intelligence that no longer identifies you may remain.
Depending on where you live — including under the EU/UK GDPR and the California CCPA/CPRA — you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information and to opt out of certain processing. You can exercise the core rights directly in the app (edit your profile, control location, delete your account) or by contacting us. We do not sell your personal information, and we honor applicable opt-out requests.
We rely on service providers to operate UnPlat, including Google Firebase (authentication, database, hosting, storage, cloud functions, push messaging, and analytics) and Google Maps Platform / Places (maps, geocoding, and place data). These providers process information on our behalf under their own terms and security controls. We do not sell your personal information.
UnPlat is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
